.......and make our way to Faith Presbyterian Church in Huntsville Alabama. They have hosted us on all 5 of our previous trips to Mississippi and have become dear friends in the process.

The following morning we will head to Gulfport, Mississippi and arrive at our "home" at the Handsboro Presbyterian Church for the week by 5:00pm CST. The next morning we will begin the work that we are assigned. We don't choose the work, the work chooses us! In our past trips, we have been doing reconstruction, dry-walling and clean-up, but now we are doing more new home construction. You can see one of the houses we worked on in the video above. There are many more new houses planned.

Friday and Saturday we will be working, on Sunday morning we will worship with the folks at Handsboro Presbyterian Church. After lunch will be free time.

On Monday it will back to work through mid-day on Wednesday.

On Wednesday afternoon we will head back to Huntsville, Alabama, and then leave on Thursday morning and return to Grand Rapids by 8:00pm on July 3rd.

I thank you for considering our MRCC Mission trips. We also are going to be starting mission projects in our NW Ohio area. During the recent flooding in Grand Rapids we where able to help some of our neighbors right here at home.
If you are unable to go with us we would appreciate your thoughts and prayers and financial help too.
If money is an issue for someone that would keep them from going on the MRCC Mission Trip, then, if you choose, you could sponsor someone. That would be a blessing to them so they can go and for us to have them working with us.
In 1st Corinthians Chapters 12 &13 Paul talks about the gifts that God has given each of us and the importance of the whole body of Christ working together using those gifts. That defines and describes us just right---many people working together with the gifts that God gave them all. I have seen first hand what that kind of power and energy can do. Actually, it is the kind of power Jesus told us we now had after his resurrection---Easter power!! I can tell you, it is awesome!!! Come see for yourself!
Join us, and add your hands and your heart to become hands of compassion.
Grace and peace,
Chuck Thomas, MRCC Mission Trail Boss
